I loved my Porsche, but there were odd little things wrong with it. Like the "your airbag has exploded" idiot light (do you really need one?) was always on. The dealer could get rid of it but it was back within a few days. Also, the "fresh/recirculate" button on the a/c would turn itself to "fresh" no matter what I wanted.

I think the copper color Nissan uses on 350z's and their new crossover vehicle is really cool, but I've never seen it on a non Nissan, so I don't know what a Porsche what look like with it.

The 911 twin turbo was the best car i have ever owned and great to fly up and down the M1 in the UK early on a Sunday Morning but in California forget it. There is nowhere you can use a car like that to its full advantage The Porsche Carrera is more than enough for the highways here and a lot less $$$. I just test drove the 2003..911 with an X50 package. now that car comes close to the old twin turbo but at $150,000 it should give you head as well. The new Cayenne drive really well and is amazingly fast for an SUV and starting at $54,000 a bargain. The Boxter is a pussys car the old 968 was a far better car than the new Boxter

I'd need to see photos of the model you want, in the colors you are thinking about. Otherwise, it's too arbitrary... I'm partial to red (like mine) or black (simplicity is best), if I have to pick.

I couldn't decide between Arctic Silver and Arena Red..so I got one of each
If you are considering a turbo the only negative aspect is that it loves rear tires..I go through a set of SO2's every 7,000 miles.The Carrera is much easier on them.over 15k on this last set.

I owned a red 1984 Turbo Carrera convertable in 1984. Great car for a young guy. Expensive to take care of, but fun to drive. Lived in Newport Beach, CA. at the time. Chicks loved it.Ponda
