Like I said, Gary was tired of waiting on him. Gary was my partner, not Viper. Viper was brought in to alleviate some of the burden on me by doing design work. Viper didn't do that. It was mutually agreed on by Gary and myself to let Viper go. Viper was paid for his button and his gallery, even though we didn't use them.Originally posted by FuqALot

If you give up after three weeks, then you must've been thinking he ain't doing shit after about a week or maybe two weeks, why not telling him by then to go fix some stuff. That might've been better for both sites, at least both would know what they were up to.

um how about a head count. How many designers out there have been contacted about a job and then after they have put their work into it all of a sudden the person says oh well i've found someone else. If you don't get payment up front and you don't get a signed contract then it's your fault you forgot to get out the vaseline first. Ass tears hurt baby but in the business and on this board you have to get used to it.

HE DELIVERED NOTHING. Well, a lousy gallery and a button. Which he was paid for. He was also warned up front that lack of production would get him axed.
Viper has nothing to be crying about. Instead he should be looking in the mirror and wondering what he can do next time to avoid a similar situation. Nobody fucked him. He was paid.
I still fail to see how anyhting he has said remotely resembles any form of a cohesive argument. What is he arguing?

was merely saying that if he felt he was being offered something he should have gotten it in writing (whatever he felt he was being offered) I've been in the same boat. Did all the design work on an affiliate rogram for a partnership well the other guys couldn't hold up to his end of the oral agreement so I told him to have a nice time I was out. I think the prog stayed another month and now it's gone. I'm left with some domain names but no bitterness. It gives me time to pursue other avenues.
