JUST A RANT HERE

I was reading a thread about your power problems down in CA, and thought I would share this tidbit. Watching the news last night and they were talking about Natural Gas prices again.

I am not sure if you guys in Southern California even use much of this stuff in your homes, but up here in Alberta we hog the shit in winter. De-Regulation of the industry has set in, and we are now facing increases of 127% over our last months bill. (which already had an increase attatched to it) The average home may cost up to $250Cdn/month ($160US) for Natural Gas.

Now our dickhead Preimer (Honorable Ralph Klein) is trying to De-Regulate the power prices too!

I simply cannot understand this when comparing our prices to that of other provinces up here. Ecspecially considering how much we produce here in Alberta.

Have a great day folks, I gotta go out and grab another armload of firewood from the yard.
