I am a firm belive in gun owner's rights. I lived only a block away from the people involved in the incident discussed in that news story. After that, I was 100%, irrevocably for removing ALL restrictions on gun ownership except those that prevent violent felons from possessing guns.

But I dont understand the topic of this post. Is the thread starter for or against gun control. I dont see how that news story makes a good arguement against gun control... yet the poster is thanking the people who fight against it? Maybe my sense of humor is dull tonight and I am not reading the sarcasim correctly?
Anyway, I hope they kid gets better and they should hang the guy who did it up by his balls.
