Why does the world hate Turkey:

First of all the Cyprus issue. The Turks invaded a defenceless island and made more than 200000 people refugees in their own country.They will say, that Greeks were doing harm to the Turks on the island. Ok, just for the shake of argument, agree. But, in the case of Kurds, they are doing worst. Are the Turks pro human (Turkish) rights on Cyprus and against them (Kurdish that is) in Anatolia? And if the Turks did a favour to Turkish-Cypriots back in '74, then how come most Turkish-Cypriots have left the island since then? And the remaining are going to the southern part for work and are protesting in Nicosia against Dengtash? Not to mention the fact that the invasion has been condemned by everyone, including your best allies (Americans et all).

Then it is the issue of international treaties. Turkey is disputing the status of the aegean, is talking about grey zones. In '96 we came to the edge of war over a small island that was Greek and the Turks disputed it. And how I know that Imia was Greek? Whell, for one thing, the Italians that had taken from the Turks and then lost it to the Greeks, were saying it was Greek. Last years, we had a record over the aegean. 2800 illegal intrutions in the Athens FIR by Turkish fighters, 3200 violations of the Greek teritorial air space, 1300 dogfights between Greek and Turkish fighters. Doesn't this say something?
Also, Turkey says that here in Greece we mishandle the "Turkish" minority (muslim by the treaty of Lozan). Come and check how they live and go to Turkish rural areas and make a comparison. And what about the thriving Greek minority of Konstantinople (200000+) that was forced to leave Turkey in the '50s, leaving back everything they owned?

Is it just a coincidence that Turkey has problems and disputes with all of its neighbours? Greece, Armenia, Cyprus, Syria, Iraq, Iran, potentialy Russia.

Is Turkey a democratic country or a country that is ran by the military? Who has more authority, the government or the National Security Council? Why did the head of the Turkish Armed Force, general Ozkock, said after the ellection of Mr. Erdogan that the military will protect the country from both exterior and interior threats? And why was he accepted those very days of the ellections in the U.S. as a leader of State?

Is Turkey a country that prospers or a poor underdeveloped third world country? Why does Turkey spends 4% of its GDP on arms, while there are not enough schools, hospitals, it's in the middle of a serious economic crisis the people have no jobs and the country expects aid from abroad? And if all that are so, who is to blame? Why does Greece, Armenia, which was a part of the Ottoman Empire 200 years ago, has a level of development extremely higher than Turkey's, while having suffered a war, a military occupationl.

Why isn't Mr Erdogan Prime Minister, but Mr Gioul is?

Why nobody wants you in the E.U. ? Is it just because you have committed more crimes against humanity and still do than any nation in Europe.

At last, why can't Kurds say that they are Kurds, in Turkey? Why doesn't Turkey accept that there are Kurds in the world as an ethnic group, not just in Turkey? We can't a woman M.P. wear a head cover in the Parliament? Why are there officers thrown away the military because they are considered "islamic fantamentalists"? Is this a sign of democracy? And what about the communist party? Is it still banned in Turkey?

The reality is that there are two countries which have disputes. Country "X" is a country whith powerful democratic foundations, member of the E.U. for more than twenty years. A country whose citizens live whell and prosper. A country that has no problems with any of its neighbours... except from country "Y". Country "Y", is a country that has a fake democracy but is really ran by the military. It's a country that supresses its citizens on the grounds of religion (islamists), ethnicity (kurds), political beliefs (communists). A country whith a cripled economy, whith high unemployment and inflation rates, that has money for the military but not for its people. A country that occupies illegaly part of another, third country. A country that doesn't respect international treaties. A country that has problems with all of its neigbours...Whell, who do you think must be right in any dispute. Country "X" (Greece) or country "Y" (Turkey)?

And the issue of the Armenian Genocide. More than a dozen major countries all around the world have accepted the Armenian Genocide. Almost all of human rights groups, history professors, genocide and holocoust scholars accepted that what happened during the Ottoman Empire was a clear case of Genocide. How come dozens of archives were obtained showing orders for the exterminations of the Armenians by your beloved Ataturk and Talaat. What about the hundreds of eye witness accounts by the missionaries from Germany, France, U.S.A., Britain recorded in the Blue Book. What about the over hundred articles in NY Times about the massacres of Armenians by the Turkish government. Isn't this enough proof for your dirty country you TURKISH FUCKS. JUST ADMIT YOUR GUILTY AND DIRTY PAST AND MAYBE YOUR GUILTY SOULS CAN BE SAVED.
