QuickBuck In Vegas... What 2 Do?

Going to vegas for a week on monday to oversee the filiming of our newest reality series.

Instead of staying in a hotel we rented a nice house on a golf course, an suv... and since we're only working for a few hours a night while we're there... aside from golfing any ideas what to do?

Some of the Bikini bars at both the Palms and Rio are pretty cool...

Also, check out the Green Valley Ranch casino if you are over that way.. I think it is the only casino with flat screens above the black jack tables!

If you got an SUV then go see red rock canyon and valley of fire. beutiful state parks and only a few minutes outside of town. Best way to spend $5 in vegas, you dont even have to get out of the car.

O is at the Bellagio... it's fantastic, there is so much going on in it you cannot possibly take it all in at once.

My idea of the perfect date in Vegas would be going to see the early show, then having dinner at Picasso, also in the Bellagio (if you saw Oceans 11, Andy and Julia ate dinner there every night), having coffee and desert on the terrace and then going to either the Voodoo Lounge or the Foundation Room for drinks and the view.

Ok, well that's how the date would start anyway ;)

Man.. i walked out of mystere.. after about 40 minutes it all looked the same..

I think there is a new casino out by that new area they are building, I cant remeber the name of it.. I think it is where they are putting in the Ritz Carlton..

Oh yeah I heard that shark reef thing is pretty cool at mandalay..

Although you will be enjoying 100 degree plus temps im sure every day next week..

See.. thing is i've been to vegas tons of times and have already done all the touristy shit.. sharks, o, sigfried & the tigers...etc..etc..

I'm trying to get more of a feel of what locals do for fun... aside from casinos.

For example, here in austin we've got a great party street called 6th street and it's tons of fun at night... during the day there are lots of neat very "austin" things to do too.

its not much to do in vegas, and since its really hot now aside from trying to beat the heat, and go waste your money its not really much more you can do out here. but it all depends on what you like to do.

me myself i go paintballing, fishing, rc racing, and offroading

sounds like we have alot of the same interests.. do you live in vegas? I've only seen one RC racetrack here and its like 20 miles from house, over by sam boyd stadium

Where do you go offroading around here?

if you goto hobby town usa off of sahara and decatur they usally have races in the parking lot, and if you ask around they have alot of little races all around the vegas valley.

as far ass offroading i dont have my old truck anymore, but same as rc racing you gotta talk to the guys you see with ht ebig ass trucks, theres lots of empty lots, mainly in the north vegas area where you can go if you have a 4wd, atv, or bike and have lots of fun.

as far as fishing i usally goto lake mead, and if i dont feel liek driving that far i go up to sunset park, if your into catfish you can catch alot if you know your shit

oh yea, renting atvs would be a good idea, if you have a tow vehicle, if not they usally have one you can rent as well, but i hope you have a place to go with them, as i said before and in the other post, in north vegas its alot of empty space, me and a few nighbors use to go paintballing, offroading, and all sorts of other shit in the masses of good for nothing land
