                                Let me ask you a question: If pay sites will put banners on theHun because they get signups and they have affiliate progs, why wouldn't the hun make money by using an affiliate code? Clearly, ad buyers make more than they spend for the ad.

                                Clearly, theHun is not thinking completely straight or is just not out to maximize profits.

                                        there's a lot of factors to take into consideration, namely, bandwith.

                                        if he builds his own galleries and hosts them, his bandwith will be multiplied several hundred times. if he were to use sponsor hosted galleries, the sponsors wouldn't be too happy if the conversions weren't up to par and they got shafted for a big bandwith bill.

                                        also, the cash he gets from webmasters is a sure thing, regardless of conversion ratios. the webmaster still pays several hundred dollars for his spot, even if he doesn't make a sale.
                                        if the hun were to buy content, have a gallery designed and put it up, he runs the risk of not making any sales. so the money wouldn't be a sure thing.
