Annika Sorenstam Prediction?

ok, i've been hearing this nonstop yakfest about the girl golfer playing this PGA Tour event this week. So predict her score for her first round tomorrow and if you think she will make the cut.

Whoever gets the exact score tomorrow and guess right about her making the cut wins something. Ask Lensman, he's in charge. If he tells you to fuck off, ask Luc Dubois.

My prediction for Annika Sorenstams first round score:

138

About 77. She played a practice round on another course with Tiger Woods and finished about 10 shots behind him.

A few years ago, Laura Davies, then the longest hitter on the LPGA tour, played four rounds with a top male player (Nick Price?) and finished more than 35 shots behind.

There is no way Sorenstam will make the cut. In fact, she'll be lucky not to finish dead last.

I know NOTHING about golf, so I will not risk a prediction. I would hope, though, that good women do get to play with the men and NOT vice versa. There's no issue of fairness here for any clear thinker. Men are much stronger than women in sports on the whole, but if a woman can prove she's got the stuff, she should play with the big boys. What point could possibly be made (other than the sad one of humiliation) by a man playing against women? It's like, if you have a sandlot team consisting of guys in their 20's, but if a boy in his teens wants to play and has the talent, why not? But what would be the purpose of the 20's guys insisting then on playing in the teens' games? It could only be for the purpose of humiliation, which a true sportsman should be above.

well she shot a 71 today, pretty damn good but the course was a little slow. it will speed up tomorrow and I'm not sure she can break par which she'll need to do to make the cut.

2) She didn't qualify. She got a sponsor position.

Ref 2) don't know if you know this, but it's a PGA turnament ,not a LPGA turnament she's invited to play at.
