Where I live the storms come to ME
It's just a case of grabbing the camera. When I took these pics I just went to a park 100m from my house where a few other people were watching the "show" and snapped away. Couldn't find my tripod which is why the third one's blurry. That park is a good place because theres no disturbance to the view over the river, but there is a better lookout on the other side of the bridge which looks out to sea which is also good but has no shelter. It's summer here so it's hot and muggy which gives us all the storms.
Pisses me off because im watching all this awesome lightning as I ride back from the gym (really slowly after an hour of working out) and the camera's at home.. would have got some geat shots if i wasn't on a fitness kick.
