    Fucking Checking Accounts!!!!

    Ok so i wrote my usual 20 or so checks this month, but forgot to check if my transfer cleared from my savings acct to cover them.

    LUCKILY i had just enough extra in my checking to cover my checks! Infact, after all my checks cleared, i fucked up my transfer and it didnt go in as i thought it did.

    Ok so now im left with a $2.00 balance in my checking account, and im still thinking everything is fine (i didnt know about any of this at this point)

    Now the bank decides to take a $6.00 fee for not having $500 in there (which i would have if my transfer worked) and im left at -$4.00 and it puts me in overdraft.

    Dont you know the bank charges me a $60.00 fee for going into overdraft? Even though they are the ones that put me there!!!!

    those fuckers!!!

              Even with online banking you still have to balance your account, I used BofA and they wouldn't update account info on a regular basis....it was all sporadic 'n shit.

                  drop that bank... they suck. My Credit union auto covers checking account with funds from savings. Pays me 6% on savings account and 3 % on checking. Credit unions rock.

                      i had that happen. i wrote a rent check when i was living in london, it bounced and sent me over my overdraft, and then i got bounce check fees and overdraft fees even though they put me there

                          Not even about the money, its the principal!!!

                          Thats like when i police officer is riding your ass for like 5 miles like he wants to pass, and you speed up because he is obviously in a hurry ... just to end up with a speeding ticket

                              I don't understand why you don't have the checking and savings automatically linked together in cases like this.
