    MPEG-4 And windows 2000 HELP ME!!!

    NEED HELP!!

    I ordered some content and that was incoded in MPEG-4 (Avi)
    Files.

    Now I am sitting here at my windows 2000 computer and trying to get those damn files to work in different programs to cut the movies to smaller ones.

    I wanted to work the files in pinnacle but for some reason that program just close on me when I try and work this format.

    But I have the latest mediaplayer 9 so I can look at the movies but for some reason my other programs like TMPGEnc for example dont support the MPEG-4 even though it could.

    Any ideas on what I need to change to get this to work?

    The best shit would be to get pinnalce to work the files at ones and not have to convert them first.

    Is this possible?

          Well thing is this must work without thos eother programs...I must be missing some codec or something but I just can´t figure out why I cant run these shit and other people can.

                  codec's will be the death of me for sure... might want to check elecard products for the codec... I know the elecard player will play just about everything...

                                              I can now save shit in pinnacle but for some reason I cant see the small thumbs it saves..all those screens are black. Any ideas why?

                                                      I have never used pinnacle before... maybe there is a thumbnail option that isn't turned on?

                                                          Well I work directly in pinnacle now.

                                                          I inser the movie MPEG-4 file and the program scans the file and add sections to it for more easy work..

                                                          But my problem now is...I cant se the small " thumbs" Pinnacle makes. BEcasue every window is black not. But when I draw the clip down to the working area I can see the movie and shit...but its hard to know what clip to pick when they are all black

                                                              This place can help better than I - I no NOTHING about Pinnacle software - I know a lot about the Targa3000 card, but not the software :-/
