Surf Notes:

The primary source of waves here in the islands will continue to be the trade winds blowing on the ocean between here and the west coast. This incoming wind swell has mostly 1-3 feet of surf rolling into the east facing beaches, wrapping onto beaches just south and north of that locally. These wrapping waves have kept surf breaking along some north facing beaches, particularly here on Maui...where Hookipa Beach Park has seen 1-2 foot of surf breaking there for quite some time now. Pavilions, the little reef break there is oriented in such a way that the trade wind swell moves right into that spot. The trade winds are forecast to continue blowing right on through the next week, so that there shouldn't be much let up in these waves for the windward sides. These moderately strong trade winds are also doing a bang up job of blowing out the surf, and adding their white caps to the ocean surface each day as usual.

I am moving next month. There the year average is 85F (or 86F, I cant remember).

Today there at 6AM was 83F (feels like 91F), and because it was raining.
