I tend to think that the guys doing the testing for magazines like Motor Trend and Car & Driver etc are pretty much experts in thier field. I did a little searching, found alot or articles, and not any of them said the H2 was designed for homosexuals. Pretty much the only complaints were about the fuel mileage (as to be expected) and the spare tire being inside of the passenger compartment. I took my spare tire out. I only put it in when I'm going offroading 2 times a month.

In the end all that matters is what you like. If dont like the H2 dont get one. I've had an H1, not mention driving the military ones for 7 years. In my opinion as an overall vehicle it aint so great. The H2 has what the H1 lacks, comfort and driveability. If the street manners absolutly do not matter to you, then spend $7000 on a used Jeep CJ and have the best thing to ever hit the trail.Comment

Hummers are a big expensive peice of shit. I have a 50k dollar truck lifted that will do anything a hummer will do for a fraction of the costs and its not ugly.

I've driven the H2
the escalade
the suburban
and the tahoe. The H2 is the best of the bunch,, much more fun then the others. Especially when you have a couple banging in the back seat...
