Good times

A school mate of mine that I have known since the eighth grade spent the past two days visiting. We had a great barbecue and some of my brothers and sisters attended. Talking over childhood days was great...he remembered shit that I had forgotten and I remembered shit that he had forgotten...alot of good laughs. He gave me a key to his hide-a-way next to the Kings River...you can fish off of the back porch...catfish and bass...good fishing area. I hope to make use of it one of these days. Old friends are the best friends.

Just felt like sharing.

I lost the most of my old friends when start making some real money.I miss them often , we had a great time being 15 or 16.

My closest childhood friend was killed when he lost control of his Air Force F-15 during training exercises.

He was a wild driver in high school. You know the kid that has the souped up car and races through the school parking lot and stuff showing off his engine power and noise.

We were in aviation class together also and the teacher told him, (prophetically it turned out) "Frank, if you fly planes the way you drive your car you'll end up dead in a plane crash". From the newspaper reports after he crashed they said he had pushed the plane past its limits top gun style and blacked out and the plane went smack into the ground.

Several of my old school friends have also been killed and it is a regretful loss...I understand the loss.

Yep. I forgot to mention that my shoolmate that visited told me about another mutual schoolmate that has a connection with the world of boxing and can provide ringside seats for the big HBO fights and my friend has taken advantage of this on occasion. He told me that I could get hooked up too. He also gets to go back to the dressing room of some of the fighters and has a ton of dressing room pics with various fighters. I don't fly anymore and do not travel very often anymore...but there is a large Indian Casino here in California that promotes some of the HBO fights so I may take advantage of this one day. I have never had a ring side seat at a fight.
