I never send from that account, only forward to my main addy.
all emails from my are from @simplecom.net

not sure on how it all works, but i havent gotten infected, but have been sent quite a few virus emails and deleted them, but no doubt the thing is spoofing all kinds of shit.

im no virii expert though.

This fucking virus used my webserver to send out thousands of mails. Got hundreds of bounced virus infected mails back the last 4 days.

Thought it is a windows virus. How can that fucking thing send mails from a unix machine? And from where did it get the email adresses? There's no outlook for linux. Weird ... seems that this fucker who coded that virus used my sendmail to send out the infected mails. Whatever ... its locked now and there's no chance left to send those mails furthermore.

If anybody got a mail from [email protected] ... it wasn't me.

its not using my home machine at all. i have a box set up for mail and its not even turned on.

how is it spoofing zip sends from fletch @ fletchxxx dot com?

Just have a look at THIS Symantec site. Try the removal tool for MyDoom B. Hope it helps.
