In lovely historic Gastown in Vancouver, there are several upscale clubs along the brick road. However, this borders our skid row, which has the highest density of HIV and AIDS infected people in North America.
Two friends of mine used to bounce at a couple clubs down there, and have had a couple experiences with some of the walking dead. Apparently there is this really, really fucked up guy who had the idea that it would be funny to stick needles in himself and parade in front of club patrons. He apparently looked like a cactus with about a half dozen needles sticking out of him. They kept falling out and he'd bend down to pick them up and stick them back in, laughing.
Anyways, nobody, even the police, really wanted to deal with that guy. I think he said they eventually chased him down the street and dealt with him away from the public eyes.
Damn, those Dallas bars sound like warzones.
Kinda like the bar scene in Pirates of the Caribbean.
