So, I went out for a night of dancing with the girl, her friend, and a friend of mine. Having a good time in a popular club in downtown Vancouver. Yay... yeah, this is fun, woo woo!
Well, the above was true for about 10 minutes, because some persians / hindus had to get all huffy. There was a small altercation where one of the guys was being escorted out, and suddenly like the parting of the seas, like 20 of his friends RUSH out from seemingly nowhere, pushing chicks / servers / elderly / small animals / nuns and anything else in their way over. Of course there was alot of yelling in some moonmanesque language, and about 10 guys eventually got asked to leave.
Great! back to having a good time. Or did I speak too soon? Yup. About 10 minutes later, some other brown guys decided to have a mini-pushing match in the middle of the dance floor. Nice. So while this was going on, people are getting tossed about while Akmed and Ahwaz are proving how manly and tough they are. A minute goes by and their display of might comes to an end, but only after wooing dozens and dozens of young maidens.
Cool, back to having a good time. Oh wait...
So my girl goes outside with her friend to have a smoke. One of the 10 guys kicked out earlier puts his arm around her and her friend, on their shoulders. He says to them "I WANT TO KILL SOMEONE TONIGHT" to impress them. I wasn't around, thankfully, but he apparently was doing this to a few women outside in front of the bar. However, at this particular place the doormen have no authority beyond the little velvet rope.
I hate when drunken macho men travel in large packs, without any women to keep their tempers down, who basically set out to fuck other peoples' nights up. Luckily nothing happened last night but at several points drunk arabs almost ran over my girlfriend on the fucking dance floor.
