              If it was WindowsCE have no doubts. It was Microsofts fault.

              WindowsCE tried to reboot the car however the Power stirring was a non compliant external piece of hardware along with just about everything else in the car.

              It is a sign that Microsoft wants BMW to start building Plug and play automobiles with no Java cup holder's.

                  Of course it wasnt a Windows/M$ Problem, and of course Embedded Linux wont solve it either

                      What would be sick is if you could plug your PDA into your car and control every aspect of it. Use it like a dongle key to prevent the car from being stolen.

                              No. I didn't know 10 year old BMW's were powered by Windows CE.
