If he owns it, and gave some free reign to run their business with it.... then I'd imagine they're friends... in which case, yeah... he'd help him out with some kind words. Everyone does that.

As always though... with anything on GFY, I refuse to say or judge or even presume to know who is right.... I'm just saying, if someone owns the domain name, that doesn't make them the company owner automatically.

I Just got off the phone with T69 where looking not to do a stripclub this time. Maybe D&B, someone requested Jillians. It will be a lot cheaper and a cool time. Those types of comments were the main reason I decided to make this thread. Dumb spam is one thing but acting like an impartial customer and saying negative things about your competition is over the line. Good posts Choker, you're exactly right.

Ever heard of the term "innocent until proven guilty"? (and, no, your whois detail doesn't prove anything - I know of other domains that Cheeba registered and hosts for friends - but I'll be damned if I'll give you those here).

I've personally known Cheeba for some time, have done plenty of business with him, have never been ripped off, and he's always over-delivered. In fact, our business relationship has evolved into a pretty close friendship - anyone who's attended the outings Cheeba and I have organized at Cheerleaders in Philly can vouch for the fact that I really do know him pretty well...!

Rich - because of the way you went about this ( i.e. your wholesale attack on Cheeba without checking any of your facts with him first, and your readiness to just drag his good name through the mire), any and all respsect I had for you has been shattered. It is posts like this that reveal a mans true colors, and this is some serious 'stab in the back' thing you pulled here.

I am, quite frankly, amazed at the restraint Cheeba has shown in his responses here - boy, I would be PISSED!!!!!

Cheeba acts like a customer of this webtrafficconsulting and praises their traffic when in fact he owns it. And goes so far as to say his traffic is "cleaner" than mine. I have no problem whatsoever when a customer of mine makes this sort of comment, but when a competitior acting like a customer does it , it pisses me off quite a bit. Anyone having to stoop to this kind of tactic in order to get business is pathetic. This sort of behaviour is one of the main reasons so few people trust traffic brokers.

If I had 1.000.000 uniq users a day, and it's good traffic, then I would for sure send them to some site where I could make some money on them, in stead of selling it to some other webmaster at $0,003 (or whatever) a piece.
