    What IS the real Matrix?...I'll tell you at the end of this?.and by the way, if you are a webmaster and you DON'T like this movie...you might be retarded. Read why.

    First off, fuck the haters. The Matrix Reloaded was pretty good.

    No, not as cool as the first - but how could they possibly replicate the coolness factor of the original one anyway? Few people remember the way The Matrix busted into theaters in 1999. A clever marketing campaign during the Superbowl - the biggest television event of the year. Hell some films are built on one fucking line alone. Who is Kaizer Soze?

    The movie starts slow. The opening third of the movie seems more like an epilogue to the first. The reminders of the personal interplay between the characters, the crew returning to Zion and the strange pseudo-religious worship of Neo.

    If you were mystified by the tribal dance portion of the film?don't be. Finally a movie willing to acknowledge that Zion/Paradise/Holodeck/WHATEVER would actually consist of a whole lot of bumping and grinding. Anyone else feel that scene was as sexed up as a few of those FUBAR photo sets?

          expectations were very high, and they were not met. That's why most people think it sucked.

          I personally was left on my appetite.

          oh, and think about this... Why the fuck would neo want to fight against 100 agent smith when he could have just fucked off flying

                      Seriously it was an Ok movie, but it could have been way better.

                      When one of the twins had his arm stuck in the door, why didn't he just disappear like they always do?

                                                      He had to hold the door open. If he turned into that bad ass ghost, the door would have shut and then went back to Tibet or whereever that mountain palace was.

                                                          I rate movies, not by the level of 'cool' the special effects were, but by how it was as a "movie" in general. Granted, it is slightly dependant on the type of movie, surely you can't complain about things like plot in an action movie, nor can you conplain about lack of special effects in a drama, but some themes are universal.

                                                          The reason I did not like the Matrix 2 was that it completely lacked tempo. If a movie is going to be 2 and a half hours long, it better have damn good editing, so you don't realize it's long.... It just seems like it's natraul length (a la LotR: FotR)

                                                          There are a few other reasons I'd put it in the "disappoint" category, the the major one was tempo.
