Now that's something... I have noticed a few sponsors doing it without really telling promoters about it. Now the link lists are going to redirect too.

Cuts out the sponsor from redirecting the traffic to dialers. The middle man fucking the middle man, everyone fucked. Especially the redirected countries.

I am in the US and post galleries all over the place. Some traffic comes from the redirected countries. I didn't realize that a few of my sponsors were in effect stealing the traffic and sending it to dialers. One sponsor has about 60 countries on the list including, Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands... and many more.

All I can say is get your own foreign traffic you redirecting sponsors!!! I am sporting huge bandwidth bills to send you traffic that I will never make 1 fucking penny for.

why aren't you directing that traffic before sending it to a sponsor??? If they are re-directing, it's probably because they can't make money from those countries, so why are you still sending it there? Um, if you get the traffic from a linklist, technically isn't it THEIR traffic? ;)))

From what I understand he's running a sexmoney script to redirect traffic. Unfortuneately Greenguy is on the road and won't be around for a couple hours but I'm sure he'll make some adjustments once he's online again.

A lot of those programs are banned by sponsors. Also, a lot of processors won't process for a lot of those countries.

Therefore, the traffic is worthless unless redirected to a sponsor that can covert it.

Most people who have been following the industry news magazines and webmaster resources will know that there has been a HUGE influx in non-English speaking traffic and also know that surfers from countries outside the US do not use credit cards in the same way that we do here - some don't even use credit cards at all. Alternative payment methods, sites in their native language and niches that reflect the cultural interests of the surfers are the way to go.
