Yeah, I've tried a few of the variants. Here's my breakdown:

Coke: metallic taste, but good
Diet Coke: sufferable

Pepsi: extremely sweet, very burpy
Diet Pepsi: rancid (and not Out Come the Wolves Rancid)

Vanilla Coke: Pretty sweet stuff, in a good way
Diet Vanilla Coke: good alternative, but quite metallic tasting
Coke with lemon (i forget the name): absolutely gross. Couldn't finish the glass
Cherry Coke: Wayyy too sweet for my taste

Pepsi Twist: over-abundance of flavour - bad flavour
Cherry Pepsi: very sweet, but will do in a pinch

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I actually prefer pepsi twist to standard pepsi... not so damn fizzy and not so strong.

However, if you let it get flat it ends up tasting like licqorice(sp?) water.

Not sure if the recipe is the same in Australia...

I went through a phase of drinking a ton of Pepsi Twist.....

I used to also drink a lot of Diet Pepsi, just toss a slice of lemon in it...

lately, I'm mainly just a straight up Pepsi drinker (oh yeah, and that billion dollars is mine bitches, back off ;)))

I fucking hate Pepsi Blue though, it's only slightly more nasty than that shitty Pepsi Clear they tried doing a couple years ago...

Yep, Coke with Lemon is way worse.

With Pepsi Twist, the lemon flavor is subtle. Coke with Lemon tastes like it's been mixed with liquid Lemon Heads. Ugh.

We just started getting all these wacky flavours over here. I like Vanilla Coke but Pepsi Twist is ick. However, I do have to agree that Pepsi Blue is the worst of all the new flavours. Took one sip and threw it away.

Thats what happened to me, I used to drink a liter of soda everyday for years and years and it did some damage to me.

Now I drink water, iced tea and gatorade and feel much better. I miss the caffeine though and I dont like coffee.

Cherry coke is good. Only if you're using real marichino cherries, etc. And Vanilla coke is good, only when you're adding your own vanilla extract. Myself, I prefer Pepsi straight up, but I'll have a vanilla or cherry coke once in a while.
