Jan 29: Suicide bombing in Jerusalem... What do you think?

Behind the Headlines

Israelis started their morning today having to face shocking pictures of dead commuters - victims of a yet another suicide bomber.
The anti-terrorist fence could have prevented this massacre.
The sheer absurdity cannot be ignored. While Palestinian terrorists continue to murder Israelis, the pro-Arab majority at the UN is forcing Israel into the dock at the International Court of Justice over the fence. Thus, the supporters of terrorism condemn the victims of terrorism for simply trying to protect themselves.
All those who criticize Israel for building the fence should take a good look at this morning's pictures from Jerusalem

(Caution!!!: Video contains very graphic footage!!!.)

On a day when Israel is exchanging hundreds of imprisoned terrorists for the freedom of a kidnapped Israeli civilian and the bodies of three missing soldiers, Palestinian terrorism claims the lives of ten innocent victims, while maiming dozens more. This proves once again that in contrast to Israel's humane outlook, which views each individual as an entire world, the terrorists murder indiscriminately and disdain the sanctity of human life.

Isn't the fence completed yet? They've been doing it for years now.

They took away someone else's land and what's happening is a result of all this settlement stuff. I'm afraid this whole violence between Israel and Palestine is gonna last for a long time. The fence is a landgrab scheme. The Palestinians have no problem with the fence as long as it is placed in Israel instead of forcing Palestinians out of there homes and taking away 20% more of Palestine.

There's no choice left. Anyone bright enough knows that Palestine as it is now won't make a good country. The settlements are placed in good spots, if I'm not wrong they own like 80% of Palestine's resources. So I'm afraid a separation won't do. Some Palestinian and Israeli journalists are even suggesting to make the whole thing into one country but Israel won't allow that to happen because the Palestinians will become a majority in a few years and basically Israel is a Jewish state.

Actually it creates more criminals. It becomes all about revenge. I know, I've been in such a situation and I wanted to kill Muslims and I probably would've if I didn't leave for a non-war ravaged country. I know better now but I can assure you that if you live in such countries, you have to be an exceptional being to resist all those feelings of revenge.

Basically at this point, I'm willing to bet that most Palestinians and Israelis are either criminals or have many criminal thoughts. They all want to kill each others. There's always hope though. Lots of good in humanity. Unfortunately it only takes one violent incident to turn things around. Much harder to build a relationship than to destroy it.

There is a show that has aired a few times on either discovery channel or the history channel can't remember which.. But it's a documentary on this "wall"
Kind of ironic but it was on again last night... but honestly I duno how the wall will stop anything.. I mean are they going to kick all the Palestinians out once it's completed? So it will in affect be like west Berlin was?

If not, then it's only a matter of a few years before the Palestinians become the majority inside the walled in Israel ,and then what will the Israelis do? as the Palestinians will have the majority vote will they deny them the right to vote?

It's very messy over there both sides are in the wrong, the only thing that can solve their diffrences is if they agree to forget the past and start fresh... but of couse that will never happen.

In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

I think Israel is TOO SENSITIVE when it comes to the outside image. I mean - it's so Ironic, that in the one hand, they released 430+ terrorists (for 3 bodies and one drugdealer) and they lost 10 people on a one-minute human-bomb, the same minute as the plans exchanged....!

Everyone knows that in the past-present few countries doesn't want Israel to be there.
And , when Israel have more sensitive case when you think about democratic country. The press, the people thoughts on the street, these are all against Israel gouverment!
think about it- 430 live people for 3 bodies!!! and if the deal wasn't complete, everyone would have think that the Israeli gov does not do anything to bring their kids back...
