Adolf Hitler was indeed a master, and a born leader. Whether you like his military actions or not, he took Germany from the horror's of post WWI, to the strength and superpower status of WWII. ANYONE who can turn a nation around like that, is obviously a genious.

Chief will know more details for sure. It was either 1 or 2 weeks. I believe one. The videos were madness.... One of the darkest periods of humanity. Russians were burning and destroying everything before Germans arrive. Every single city and village. They were dying from starvation, but nothing were stoping them. Russians exceeded all human limits.

I actually no little of the specifics of the incident you refer to, though I do know about it. The Russians were incredibly resilient during this time, as were the Germans across the whole Eastern Front. In Stalingrad my Grandfather (along with all others) was living off of wall paper glue and saw dust, and braved such horrible conditions that none of us can truly ever know what it was like.

Hitler didn´t work on his own, he had persons like Goebbels who did the "publicity" for him. Of course jewish people could emigrate, but very few countries allowed them to enter. So only better of families could afford to leave Germany.

Hitler´s economic success was to build up an army. He was forced to turn the world into a war because otherwise he couldn´t keep his economical deals.
