For those of you that celebrate what do your plans include? What are you doing for your mom's or wives (from the kids) or ladies what has been done for you? I think it will be interesting to see what the different ways people spend their day will be.

See, I already found something interesting. I wasn't aware of which other countries celebrated mother's day. Well, as for us, we bought a hand poured candle in a hand made base. One is a patriotic theme and the other is an african/jungle theme. I think they just throw in the hand poured/hand made thing to jack the price up considerably but they smell good. So my mom and mother in law should be happy. They had really cute little tags attached to them though with their names and logos on them. They were matchbooks. Pretty smart idea I thought. As far as for me from my kids/husband i'm not sure yet what is in store for me. Husband had to work today so he won't be home until 3 so until them I get to clean the house and keep the kids from arguing over the gamecube. I hope I get a really good dinner out of it at least. I did get a beautiful card on the pillow when I woke up and my daughter brought me a cup of cappucino when I was woken up by my 6 year old standing by the bed asking if he could play Tonka on the computer. So looks like me and the kids will pile up in the bedroom today and watch scary movies, learn flash (yes, we're all learning how) and eat popcorn.Comment

We did the Mother's Day thing yesterday because I have a couple of guys coming today to replace my son's floor in his room.
We went to dinner at a new oyster bar. We ate oyster on the half shell and had a ton of boiled crawfish. My son 8 had never had raw oyster's before or mud bugs. Man he downed them like he had been eating them all his life. The wife was funny when I made her eat the craw fish. It was her first time eating them.
My son and I got her a few CD she had been wanting also.
It was a very nice day.
