Yes, it's totally true.
I grew up in South Africa. Some of the best stuff in the world grows there...I used to only smoke Durban Poison and Swazi Rooibaard (Redbeard)
When I came to Amsterdam, I was appalled at the prices, it was 100 times more expensive than in S.A, and in those days I was pretty poor.
