Indeed. The SuperMPG files are very complex. It is not simple to make them. For one minute of video it takes about 5 minutes of machine time for the rendered SuperMPG file. ANd this is on 3 ghz computers. So when you have hours and hours of video it takes a very long time. But the results are spectacular. Clear, crisp, huge frame size and small file size..

As far as how long the ftp login is good for - It does not expire. Only when you are done downloading does it disable. That is only after you have all your files. So if you want to take a week or two for the DL no problem. Any more than that you might get caught up in a cleaning cycle but just let me know and I will set up another login for the sets you did not get.

The bit rate on the mpg1 files that are selling for $5 dollars is a variable bit rate file. It is not a CBR (constant bit rate). I make them VAR because it decreased the files size considerably. They run at a max of 250 kb/sec but that drops down when I frames stay more consistent and less interpolation is needed.
