If you go to work for someone make it a tempory gig and one that still permits you to do your outside contract work.
Use this employment oppertunity to help get you back on your feet if you will.
I know how much $$ can vbe tied up into a house.
It is very possible that AMP does not have a cent and has it all tied up in escrow for his home and used for all the rest for their home. I know he was making a lot of big purchases. We were talking home shit a few days back.
If this is the case AMP may have nothing which is a very scarry time for anyone.

I believe him... I've been in bad spots before... Hell I escaped Venice, Pasadena and NY twice... Sometimes you just get into a stale spot and it's time to jet... I always keep in the back of my mind a few escape plans... There's always a couple of jobs or contingencies going on in my head -- that's how I stay sane... keeping my sense of adventure going...
Amp if you are really looking for a job -- this is not the way to do it... You can't seem desperate -- that's no way to get a job... Take whatever money you have left and devise a plan so that you can get access to the internet -- remove as much luxury from your life as you need to... look for a job -- look for jobs that may allow you internet access... I had a computer lab security job once in college where I could use the internet all day and do my own shit -- my buddy Mark has the same deal -- he's a sales guy for a theater -- but while he's waiting for customers he can just surf the net... Just be resourceful and you can find something cool like that I bet in Hawaii... Or get a WIFI connection and just connect from Starbucks and sleep on the beach... there's all kinds of options man... but begging for a job in your time of turmoil just is not professional man -- you will end up somebody's ho...
You can't find a dirthole to live in there in Hawaii until you can get your internet biz stable? Everywhere now there are summer sublease deals with all the college students out of town -- I bet you can find < $200/month rents in various college towns across the USA... You have options! Don't panic...Comment

Amp has the skill to easily make some cash on his own just by locking himself in a room and busting out designs.
He doesnt need a handout or a job.
He needs an escape.
He is seeking an escape.
Once he finds it he has the weapons to make it on his own EASILY (just for making designs for me and some of his other regualr clients alone) ..
He needs to get out. Get away and refocus.
He can do it.
Maybe AMP you should get some prepay deals going for designs to get some cash flow. I dont see you needing to go to work for someone else man.

If you just need to get out of Hawaii -- seriously now is a great time to find a summer sublease in a nice college town... These students are desperate to recoup some cash for the summer while they are living with the parents... and the bonus is that usually there is no lease to sign -- and it's only for the summer so there's no commitment... Really it's the way to go!
