Whenever I have visitors I take them up to Cabrillo Point. If you want a GOOD view of San Diego, go to Cabrillo Point.

Every time I go to San Diego it never fails that the first thing I hear when I turn on the local news there is that traffic is backed up because some idiot is trying to jump off the Coronado Bridge.
I was born and raised in San Diego. I try to get back there every chance I get. I have a friend that I stay with every now and then that has a house a block from the El Cortez. Nice to be able to walk downtown and hang out.Old SchoolComment

I spent a few months in San Diego a couple of years ago. First, there are military bastards everywhere. Then you have a very high percentage of people who are hispanics who barely speak English. The place is also polluted by snobby rich girls with 2 digit IQ's.
My best memory was eating cheap cheeseburgers at Rally's in El Cajon. I also spent an evening on Coronado beach that turned out to be quite memorable. Fuck San Diego.Comment

I mean people put out their first impression to the world cuz they didn't have a good time but lemme tell ya there's very FEW other places in the world that i'd rather live in full time.
San Diego has never let me down. It has great weather, lots of hot girls, stuff to do, good job market, great body modification artists, excellent transit system and a damn good baseball team.
Most of the military is out of town right now btw.. we were at war a month ago?? hmm?

Yeah, I walk out on my balcony and look out over the Bay. I can ride my bike to Pacific Beach, and I'm 5 min from the Gaslamp, Mission Valley(Stadium) and La Jolla. I don't see myself moving for a long time if ever, the weather is incredible and always things to do.Originally posted by Moose

The convention was decent, though I think they could have planned it out better. I was there just for fun, I am prominent in the Goth scene here, but there was some drama involving the Vegas Goths setting up the convention and then AltGoths came in and took over.
