adult traffic - is it a commodity?

Is adult traffic a commodity - like say gas? Or is there really a huge quality gap between say a click from an adword and a click from a tgp or pop-under?

you can probably say its like water. there are different qualities of water, ones that are more beneficial for you than others.

I definitely agree that it is a commodity of sorts. I do believe there are degrees of quality for adult traffic much like crude oil.

A good example is the escort traffic: mostly active surfers that typically spend several hundreds of dollars per month for paid live adult entertainment (massage parlors, strip clubs, and escorts). They are much more apt to spend on online porn since that would only represent a small portion of their 'sex' budget.
