It takes a lot of money to do a complex patent if you're doing technology patents where your plan is to sell the patent. Everything has to be done first rate and just right.

Sure you can do it yourself, but you'd better know what the heck you're doing or it will all be in vain.
I suppose that's one thing I have going for me, the patent is VERY simple, and I'm actually suprized I haven't seen it yet. It's simple, and brilliant. Do simple ideas tend to cost less to patent?
