Content producers have sales all the time. Are all of them hard up for money too?

Most of them...Hell yes. There are a couple of exceptions that I can think of off hand but overall...If a content company has done a blowout sale in the last year....It's because they needed cash fast. The funny thing is that after JStyles did his initial content blowout with Cloud 9...A lot of other people jumped on the band wagon but none of them honestly came close to what Styles did the first time around.
The content biz took a very hard hit in 2003. Competition is stiff and the non US providers are driving down the rates. Top that off with the fact that business was down overall and people could not afford to pay higher content prices in most cases. It's obvious who spent money on content last year and who did not.
The money is not in content any more. That is why you are seeing more and more content providers building their own paysite programs or getting a percentage of the site they are shooting for.
Now you know why so many content providers are always eager to spam their shit here. Most of them are not cutting it as is and they need to scrape up cash to cover the monthly bills.
There is one major secret that most of these people are missing out on. Thank God a few of us have it figured out and know how to keep our mouths shut.
