i love the lakers ever since childhood but jeezus man, this is about the worst start i've seen ever since coach mike dunleavy (i think it was) had control of the team.

the bossman cometh...
He is currently the President and GM of Basketball Operations for the Miami Heat. He now tells Pat Riley whats up after being his assistant for the Lakers back in the Showtime era.
Also on an another side note.....
Is any of you other Lakers fans missing hearing Chick Hearn?
Jonh V.. See I didnt even have to mention the bad calls and you already knew too..... Wow they were pretty obvious
.. Man there was some seriously shitty calls down the stetch.. Even my buddy who is a rockets fan called to tell me he couldnt believe Kobe didnt get that call at the end of the game and every time anyone stood next to francis he went to the line.. Not to mention that terrible flagrant call on Shaq and technical on Phil at the same time, + they got the ball... Its cool.. Shaq and Kobe didnt play that well, they were on the road and Francis had his best gave ever and it still took some bad calls to win.
I'm not worried. The lakers are back playing good ball again
I hear ya. I am always a bit scared to see the Lakers take the court...somehow they find ways to win...damn them to hell!!! Home court does have it's advantage....kinda obvious tonight. I do love watching that whiney little bitch Kobe cry though...he's such a baby. Someone gets near him he's begging for a call.
Yeah that was one heck of the game - and regardless of the ref's call Steve Francis and Yao Ming really rocked it. I think most people were surprised by how Yao handled Shaq.
Anyone else wonder if Yao is some sort of Chinese military experiement? I've lived in asia and he's just hard to believe. I hear that they have about another 30 Yao's currently in the Chinese Military basketball league.
