This virtual plan:

It says 8 domains (I think it's 5 actually). Anyway, does that mean that I can have more than one distinct website on the same virtual server instead of just having one distinct website and the other domains either parked or mirroring the one distinct website. I'd like to host three of my least-trafficked sites on one virtual server to save a little bit of cash. Thank you.

Thanks, Pointless. What I really need to know is can I put different sites on that one account or is it just 1 distinct website and you can mirror 5 domains or park 5 domains. I need three different websites hosted off of that one account. I msg'd that ICQ addy but they are not on yet. Thanks again.

V-B $0 $10 100MB 8GB $1.40/GB 10 domains
mean I can put 10 completely different sites on there or just 1 site and the rest mirrors or parked? Thank you for replying.

Yes, you can have 10 diff sites there for that for 10 bucks. It is the same package I started with, and with the control panel it is very easy to create and manage mysql databases, manage advanced features.

if you find you need more total space, or more bandwidth, you can easily buy more as and if you need it.

The various virtual plans that Candid Hosting offers really are based more off the allocated resource levels than an actual number of domains. For example in the case of the V-2 plan it has been our experience that between 8 to 10 active domains will fit within the allocated space.

However, like everything else there are always exceptions, I think we have one customer currently using a V-2 plan with very small resource requirements and he has fit 15 domains into his V-2 plan. Another customer was only able to fit four domains within the resources allocated under the V-2 plan.
