Usually 22 to 23 episodes per year and they get paid on the rerun and then the residuals for years. If their show goes into syndication most of them can pocket another $50 Mil to several hundred mill.

Frasier?s Kelsey Grammer, who banks $1.7 million for each episode is the current record holder. That's about $72,000 per minute.

Although on TV Oprah has the mother of all paychecks since she produces her own show. She makes several hundred mil per year and her net worth is now in the billion and up neighborhood.

Katie Couric banks about $16 mil per year now. The Today show is NBC's biggest money maker dropping several hundred mil per year into the corporate coifers.
