What about when your info accidently get mismatched or the data corrupted someway and you get flagged innocently. The more info piling up the greater the likelihood of fuckups.
Plus if Northwest gives up data, you have to ask yourself why weren't the passengers told. What's the big secret? They also violated their privacy policy and will now be subject to civil law suits.
