    another one bites the dust: stormpay

    don't know if I am just out of the loop, but just read this elsewhere:

    Dear StormPay Member,
    Due to current merchant account regulations, StormPay can no longer transact any transactions that are intended for the "adult industry".

    Regretfully, we are having to ask that all adult merchants cease
    transactions through StormPay no later than Jan 25, 2004.

                              Here's a story for you that should deter you from StormPay:

                              Right now stormpay owes me $253.00 which is combo of 3 checks I asked to withdraw from back in November. One for $94.00 was sent they said on November 30th, another for $44.00 On November 24th and another for $115.00 on November 11th.

                              They said the checks were sent the past couple months I have been askign about them so I told them I have yet to recieve them, so it takes them 2 months now to tell me they will put a trace on them...DOH!!!

                              I get an email that says their bank has the checks and are sending them copies of them showing "I" already cashed them and they will send me proof showing me I cashed them.

                              Theres jsut one little problem with that...Our bank does not allow us to cash business checks wrote out to a company name and we have always deposited our checks witht eh words wrote on the back "FOR DEPOSIT ONLY" (any of you here hat have ever cut Virtual Ventures a check should know this is the ay we do it).

                              Anyway I am awaiting their proof that I cashed them, so we will see what happens. I am 4 hours from Tennesee so I will drive down there and pay them a visit if I have to.

                                          Yes, they were. Glad I refused to touch them with a 10 foot pole.

                                          Hey, psyko. I noticed you asked in another thread about that DVD player from Stud Money. NO, I didn't get it and it was for my dad for Christmas. I'm sure he thinks I hate him because I didn't send him anything.

                                          I wonder what's up with that?
