I dont mind sound on mouseovers on banners. I personally think the boobiebucks banner was juvenile and told me nothing about the company whatsoever, so it isnt going to influence me one way or another.
If you choose to make sounds on a banner , i suggest making something that catches my attention AND tells me something about the company.
A banner that farts or tells me to " click me now " doesnt get my vote.Comment

the fart banner actually says alot. It doesn't just fart and say click here now. It introduced our free hosted galleries, it says it right there on the banner.Comment

Its kind of rude to expect the webmaster to assume that everytime they are to come to gfy the first thing they should do is turn off their music and speakers just so they dont get annoyed at the banners.
Its not up to the webmaster but rather those that create it - there should be a choice as to whether we want to be hearing crap like this or not.
We have the board open daily and have every right to listen to our tunes on high if we wish - your paying $5000 approximately for the right to have a banner to get webmasters to buy from you.
If you hear that sound is annoying from the people your trying to sell too then stop it rather then tell them to fuck themselves.Comment
