On one of my sites, I have a trial that I don't advertise, and only gets offered on exit from the signup page. On the other, I advertise it and it is a standard option. The results aren't really conclusive, butt he second site does a bit better.

Interesting. I just started offering a trial on exit again last night... and my sign ups went up right away. But I'm wondering if I offered it right on the join page would they go up even more. I think I'm going to test it on exit for awhile... and then try it the other way.

Think many know the trick already so they'll try to back up to see if the trial pops. And most that do not know most likely to go thru the tours few times before they decide to pull his walet out and will see your pop anyways.. so you are left with very few surfers that'll actually go for non trial when you have pops so why not offer the trial straight? If you have good enough content they'll rebill
