I can tell only good things about CCbill(eu) and GloBill. I am using both and their customer service is really great and checks arriving on time. I didn't have to pay any setup fees.
contact me via icq. we charge $195 setup fee (you can pay after you start processing). you don't have to pay $750. our merchant discount rate is 8%. we payout each 10 days. thanks.
Originally posted by gothweb Okay, CCBill etc. charge $750 for Visa, but other than that never charged a setup fee that I know of. So why in the world does Yambo charge $195?
We charge setup fee just to avoid customers who just want to signup - this process takes a little time. That is not that big amount of money to be scared of I think if you really need a processing solution
Yes, I understand that. It just doesn't seem very competitive. "We're not Visa compliant, so we only charge $200 setup instead of $750"?

Oh, I agree it isn't a ton of money. I just think people will decide to go elsewhere. Personally, I'd think most would gravitate to the safety of total Visa complaince, or to someone with *no* setup fee.
Sure you would. Unless you're running a small paysite, right?
Hmm? People with small ones would go to the no-setup processors, people with big business won't mind the $750. I'm not sure I see who would choose $200 and a shaky situation with Visa down the road.
I think ppl with small ones would go with no-setup processor, ppl with middle ones would go with ccbill, ibill, yambo or whatever and ppl with big ones would get their own merchant account where they would be charged like 4.5%
Peeps, Yambo is the best, Im using them already for 5 months now and really i cant say anything more but they have EVERYTHING what a webmasters needs.
I can accept paypal payments, i can accept creditcard, and western union and alot more.
And they are offering nice support the whole day too.
My point for yambo is a ten and for the rest a five, why?
CCBill.: 750$ to accept visa
IBill.: 750$ to accept visa
PSWBilling.: Needs a european company anotherwise no visa
i didt try out the rest (ACPay,Verotel and some more), but i like yambo and will continue to use yambo and yambo is offering a realtime interface and verify options for creditcards and alot more.

Yambo looks interesting...I got a new site going up May 20 still without a biller decided.
What are the holdbacks with Yambo? What is their scrub? What cards do they not process (asian, korean, etc). Do they wire or pay by check?
Yambo is a offshore bank too, your funds will be there, you can order a maestro card for 20$ or a cirrus card for 20$ or a mastercard for 50$, nice options and offcourse wire transfer, western union, paypal, etc.
you need to talk to max about the holdbacks and the rest, i think the are differnt per site dont know, but my holdback is 10%
just sign up at the above url and you will get access to a offshore bank account for free, no charges, there are only charges if you order something a debitcard, etc.

Any problems with certain ones?
Ask yourself one question are you ( FEELING LUCKY PUNK) ( sorry couldn't resist ) in this for the long run or are you just playing. If you want to make real $$$ and be here in 5 or even 10 years time then go with one or both of the top two processors Epoch (Paycom) or CCBill, As these guys are here for the long haul and your money will be safe. Don't use IBill even if they give you $2000 to sign up it will be the worst mistake you ever make. Decide if you are serious and spend the $750 eventually all non compliant companies will lose Visa and as they make up 80% plus of many sites sale you need them, at least for now.

ok, so its only fair to refund the $ after they start using it a lot... right?
But care to explain why with yambo we don't pay the visa
fee?
Rui,
Because we do not setup new merchant accounts for your businesses. We process transactions through our accounts. That's why you don't have to pay $750.

isnt that what all other billers do unless u specifically ask for a merchant account?
Yes you're right. But we don't setup that kind of merchant accounts like ibill does. If the client wants -- we can help with getting his own merchant account. But it's a little different from $750 accounts. It costs alot more.
