I saw this show about the guy that runs the big seed site in Canada. He was arrested numerous times, but he's got the best lawyers weed money can buy, plus the penalties in Canada are a joke, so he's just fine.
I can't imagine there being a team of men in black outfits, repelling down the outside of your house over receiving seeds. I could be wrong though.

Here in Jersey most schwag goes for $20/gram. Better weed's alot more. We do get some good BC buds down in Jersey but they cost an arm and a leg. I usually go to the city to my man Jamaican Bob. I usually buy a QP for $500. Works out to be like $3-$4 a gram because he sells by volume but it's more or less accurate. In the states the general rule of thumb is;
3 quarter ozs = one oz
3 ozs = one quarter lb
10 ozs = one lb
If you mean $120 for a quarter oz, then a lb should go for $3-4000.
Sometimes price breaks arent as good for the ultra premium stuff, for example a pound might cost ya the same as 12-13 ozs. But those ratios are the general rule and if you pay more its either because you dont know any better or you want it so bad you dont care.
4 quarters = an ounce
4 ounces = a quarter pound
16 ounces = a pound
metric goes a little something like this
quarter - 7 grams
half 14 grams
ounce 28 grams
'qp' quarter pound - 113.5 grams
