So, I would not be happy that she lied. I think she probably does mean to get you a gift and it kinda got out of hand. She also probably told you she got you one because she would feel too ashamed to tell you she has not.

How long have you been dating? The first Christmas can be hard to shop for. Although I agree that lying isn't okay, I suspect that you caught her off guard and she planned to get you a gift. It's wonderful that you are not material and don't care about gifts. A lot of guys are not that way. She was probably a little embarrassed and scared when you had a gift for her and she didn't have one in return. When you approach her, be gentle. She'll probably realise that you're a special guy and she should be honest from now on. If not, you're better off without her.

For those of you who are interested in my GFY reality show about my g/f, lol... here's an update...

We got together Friday night, to have that little talk. She did end up getting a gift, so I felt kinda wierd talking about it, but I did it anyways. She gave me an other story about how she bought the gift before (cologne), but didn't give it to me cuz I already got cologne from someone else and she felt wierd doing so but now decided to give it to me anyways. I'm just gonna let this go, but it still irritates the hell out of me. Fuck...

if thats all shes lying about, and make sure it is... she just feels bad that you got her a gift and she didn't or couldnt afford one for you. all in all this is really nothing.
