    ad bar removal

    i've got this old emachines computer lying around and I was wondering anyone knew how to get rid of the ad bar they place above the taskbar. I suppose i could try formatting, but i'd like to see if there is a fix before i do that. Any help would be appreciated

              This is an older one, not sure if they use them anymore but this one definitly has an ad bar

                  If I remember correctly it's a setting you can change from the little eMachines system tray icon...
