anyone ever have a nose job?

just curious, Im having some nose surgery done, and wanted to hear your horror stories. You know, to get me pumped up before surgery.

(it's not totally cosmetic. I have breathing problems, but while they are up in there they are going to make it a little prettier)

i had a friend get one cause she thought her nose was too big.. it hurt like a mother, she did it under local, and the nose still looked the same.. i say only do it if its for medical purposes..but its your body and you are an adult ...good luck and get some good painkillers

I have never had a nose job but I have seen a video on the surgery. It looks disgusting and the sounds of the nose breaking gave me the chills.

I also dated this girl that had a nose job. She told me 3 weeks after we started seeing each other. I told her I had thought there was something a little different about her nose, I just couldn?t figure out what??she wasn?t really into that response. hahahah

My sister had it done, and for the same reason. She was already having surgery to enlarge the nasal passages, so she had some of the tissue removed at the same time. It looks great, and she said she is very glad she had it done. She had some swelling and quite a bit of bruising for about a week after (she had two black eyes), but I doubt any more than if she had only had the passage enlargement done.

I too got it for non-cosmetic reasons -- I was getting nosebleeds for no reason and they said it was due to my deviated septum. Whatever. Got it done and nosebleeds stopped.

I had work done on my nose innards when I was in high school. Nothing cosmetic, just the guts to stop me from being a mouth breather.
It wasn't bad, but the shit they pack into the sinus while it's healing is fucking disgusting. When they pulled that shit out it was like a long rubber hose that was glued to the back of my head (it felt like). Fucking disgusting.
But I can breathe good now.
