Livin in the USA, working on the WWW. Locked out of my sites because I gotta move servers and my local ISP says the DNS is still MIA. I figure maybe I?ll work on some FPA?s, but then decided to play a little WC3. Suddenly, my CRT goes DOA. Shut off the power, reset the APC UPS, but couldn?t get it to come back up from the HDD, the FDD, or even the CDR. So I whipped out my PDA, found the number to the local PC shop and told my GF I?d BRB, cuz I GTG now. BBL I said, as I hopped in my GTO?Was gonna take the LIE, but decided to go with the BQE?Maybe I?ll even take a trip across the GWB, traffic is always a bitch in NYC. Called a buddy on my cell, had him do some research on MSN, or maybe it was AOL, so I could get a new flat-screen LED to replace that old CRT. Stopped off and got some cash from the ATM, and for lunch a BLT. Finally got that new LED, and even got a free cell with PCS. Got a pretty good deal IMO. Drove like a maniac to get back home ASAP. Pushed that old CRT off the desk and proudly installed my shiny new LED, only to find I still couldn?t boot the damn PC. WTF? I thought to myself. Turns out the problem wasn?t the CRT, the FDD, the HDD, the CDR, or even the UPS. It was the fuckin CPU. Guess I?m SOL?..Thank god I still got some MJ.
