I believe only 70 Enzos are coming to the USA. There are a lot more than 70 people who want them, so Ferrari (the corporation, not each dealership) carefully chooses who gets each one. First of all, you must have owned at least one 12 cylinder Ferrari in the past, although they usually prefer at least two. That means they could care less about me because both of mine are 8 cylinders. They won't admit this, but they prefer to have celebs in them. People that are gonna have their picture taken for the first pages of People Magazine & stuff like that. The owner of the F50 that was at my dealership is a name that you would recognize in a heartbeat and his net worth is over $900 million from what I hear (I won't say his name because I'm probably not supposed to know whose it was).
JeffreyG,
Carmack is one of the most famous game programmers ever, and he has owned many Ferraris. So I bet he bought his F50 brand new. I am not 100% sure on the accuracy of his net worth, so I should have said that he is worth at least $10 million. id Software use to have a staff of 13 people and pull in a yearly revenue of $20 million back in the Quake 3 days. Here is some information on his Ferraris:
I have had three cars capable of going 300 kph (and I have driven them all at that speed). Combined, I spent around a million dollars on them (Ferrari F40, F50, and testarossa, all turbocharged). They all have their qualities, and yes, compared to an F1 car, they are an economical way to drive 300 kph. However, if someone said "the goal is to go 300 kph", I could make a nice car to do it for well under $50,000. In fact, if you look at a lot of cars that run at the salt flats, many have been put together for under $10,000, are built and maintained in a garage, and can well exceed 300 kph. To some people, this seems as ridiculous as building your own rocket ship, but it does indeed happen with some regularity.
Originally posted by JeffreyG A lot of people like the 355 better than the 360. To me it's no comparison, but then again, I've been staring at a 355 everyday for 2+ years, so when the 360 finally came in, it blew me away. If it were the other way around, I'm sure it would have been the same for the 355.
This is exactly how I felt, only it was through computer images and not real life.
Originally posted by JeffreyG Are you considering getting a Ferrari or Lambo anytime this year? If so, which are you most likely to get? I saw a Diablo 6.0 pull up to a bar I was at recently. That thing was awesome. Prices on them are falling fast these days because of the Murcielago coming out, as well as the Gallardo coming out later this year. Prices on the 355s are also falling very fast these days, so you can get one at a very good price.
Nope, not this year. Maybe in a few years. I am dumping every penny I have into a few projects so I am still building up my business and every penny I have is spoken for already. I am just starting out. My Internet profits have enabled me to, somewhat, live without spending all my focus in one area. Next year I will finally see some payoff, but it is all speculation. I am not worried though, if you end up doing what you like, you will be successful. I probably will never own a new car (never have) until I buy an expensive sports car. Whenever it is that I buy my Lamborghini, it may be a used Diablo, or maybe I'll have to 'settle' for used 355 Ferrari. The lastest yellow 355s, with the newer rims, still look pretty sweet.
Not quite, more like 2.0 L with 18 lbs of boost. Again, not crazy but enough to leave a "WTF just happened?" expression on Mustang and Camaro drivers' faces. I am not talking about 6 cylider ones either.

Yes I have, many times. It was tuned on a dyno.
With 11psi of boost it did 249 HP and 233 ft-lbs torque. I tried dynoing it at 18psi but before it hit the peak the clutch started to slip. It did show 312 HP and 290 ft-lbs of torque but again, it didn't hit the peak. The new clutch and LSD are on the way. I am expecting to hit 360 HP and maybe 320 ft-lbs of torque at ~6000 RPM. The biggest problem right now is grip or the lack of such. It freespins the tires all the way to 4000 RPM in the 3rd.

The Sopranos house from the street looked like a single story to me, with a possible basement. But in the movie, his house is 2 stories, and from within the house, it looks a lot larger.
Don't have the my67.com ride anymore...will be looking for another one to replace it. The car was nice but wasn't perfect, so I decided to wait and get one that was perfect - something closer to MikeAI's Camaro condition-wise.

Personally, I liked yours a little better then Mike AI?s. Simply because, it isn?t a convertible. I don?t like those soft tops, they just don?t suit the rest of the car. The camaro was built to be a rally car, well the Trans AM, but some idea. Soft tops just make them look weak.

And then we have my Tahoe
WISEMAN: I love the bike. The more chrome the better. That is classic. I do have to say though that that Tahoe does something form me. I love Chevy?s. The grill, the rumble, the power, ahw, I love Chevs. Nice rides, got class.

Well, if those things are true, I can tell you guys one thing. Ferrari would never sell one ride with those conditions in Canada. They would get sued for discrimination within the first week of implementing such a system.

Hey Mike, Those are some nice rides. I think the winners are? 2001 Dinan M5 and that bad ass dodge in the background. Not to keen on Ferraris, they are pimp but still.
