Ok I got emails in every box from them. Where did they get all of our emails addresses from? I have never seen such a huge response in one day?

I was thinking the only thing we all have in common is GFY and maybe they somehow got the list from GFY, but then i noticed I got it in some boxes that GFY has never seen.
This is really concerning.

They took them from my websites, because I don't use those emails usually. Things like [email protected] and [email protected] are on my website that thats where these emails were directed to.
I do that to find out where they get my email from.---Comment

I've gotten 3 emails all to the same addy... my new addy that's only been inexistance for 3 months. The ONLY place I've used this email addy is for signing up to various sponsors (around 600 of them).
This makes me curious.... are they sending to more than one list and not checking for dupes?
Anyway, I haven't used that email addy on any message boards, including PJ's or GFY. I haven't gotten any mail to the addresses that I do use on boards.
So my guess is that they're in ca-hoots with some other sponsor or 2. Or know where to buy their lists.Comment

Dare I say I think it was a sponsor program that sold them the emails. I am trying to determine which one right now, but the email address that I got the spam at, I have only ever used a 3 specific sponsors and now I just need to figure out which one of them sold my email address.Comment

twice at 3 addresses and once at another.
4 went directly to the spam folder, 3 didnt.

hit me 9 times last night, 2 of which showed up on older catch-all's for sites i haven't run in over 2 years... very odd, not really sure where they could have harvested all of these together at all (unless they just sent one to every email address is the world simultaneously!)..

I never heard about those emails being hacked and released... but it is looking like a good possibility. They also emailed me to two other emails too, so it is definitely from more than one source.Comment
