Anyway, I have been signing up to sponsors within the last 3 months for my new project (in sig) and using a brand new email addy specifically for that purpose.

And I got a swoit.com spam to it. So they have a fairly recent list to spam to.

What you're asking people to do SWOIT is break every content license they own.

Anybody with even a bit of business sense knows you're supposed to be conservative in your estimates - or include a sensitivity analysis. Even if you did do that, your estimates would probably fall under the "Extremely optimistic" forecast.

But how is the money REALLY split up?

People submitting template splash page sites with lower quality carbon-copy members areas VS. someone with 1 kickass site thats worth 100 of those cloned sites. So the webmaster with 1 good site gets stiffed with a much smaller share than the guy that submitted the 100 far lower quality sites??

Is it a flat % or payout when someone joins a participating paysite? Whats to stop Swoit from saying an unusally large % of the surfers signed up for sites that are owned/operated by Swoit (directly or indirectly)

Since not everyone has received 3 copies to each email, I assume that it's not a sending error.

* the company behind Swoit is the company responsible for the technical development of Intergal and SexHit Programs. as a contracted company, they wrote the affiliate system and handled all technical development until sometime late last year.

* i was contracted as the marketing director for SexHit from the launch in October/November 2000 until October 2002 when I resigned my position. Mandy was hired and took over the marketing of the program sometime in the following month.

* Zarvon & I have worked together, on and off, since 1998 as independent contractors to adult industry products. When you get a good tech and marketing team together you try to work together as often as possible whenever the opportunity arises. If any of you would like to hire either of our companies, we'd be happy to consider your monetary offer and we are confident that we can achieve the numbers we claim.

Mutt, how could I guess that you would have a problem with this? You are one of the regular names that comes up in threads where the australians are being grouped together and trashed. I've got a few questions for you ...

1) Didn't you get in trouble for stealing someone else's photos and posting them in a fashion that led people to believe they were yours?

2) When you sell photo content, do you really ask them how many members they have? i've never heard of anyone else doing that ... as for feeds, if you use more bandwidth than the allocated amount for your member count, you pay more money. DUH. If you have 500 members and an extra 500 swoit members surfing your site, the feeds companies will probably charge you extra for the extra bandwidth. All of my deals with feeds companies are set up this way, they let me know when I have gone up a notch and invoice me accordingly. Its not rocket science.

3) Why is it that you think Swoit is bad for content companies and yet you are a regular at the biggest TGP webmaster board in the industry?

The name "Swoit" is best described vocally, so we'll see if we can't arrange a radio show sometime soon for all of your questions.

I don't give a shit about all the explaining. Fact is I and MANY other people got spam again again again but this time to an address not public on any site (for some of us). And I really hate spam. Whenever I can do something about it I do it. This time I let spam cop decide where to go from here.
