    Disabling UPNP on XP?

    I could have SWORE there was an option in XP somewhere to enable/disable upnp..but I cant find it now. Anyone know where it is? Or do you have to use the microsoft patch to disable it?

    Start -> Run -> services.msc /s

    Look for UPnP, and stop it... ;)
    unattended error: ID 10 T. Check connection between keyboard and chair.

      then on your next software install it re-enables itself, i'll post a link to an app later that totaly removes upnp

          They can give you the info, and you can also download a tiny program which fixes security holes like UPNP. (and not, it's not hardware plug and play we are talking about)
