it is a US version of a show that was done in the UK last year called ' My New Best Friend'.

The difference, as I could tell in the comercials I saw in the States, is that in the UK they had to convince their family and friends that this guy was their new best friend and in this one it is fiance.

One show involved the new best friend telling all this guys friends he was gay and they guy had to go along with it and come out to them or not get the money. One review I heard placed it as the worst tv show of all time..others liked it.

I had hubby watching average Joe 2 in Hawaii last night.. it seems like there is no end to these reality shows

Another good reality show is Airline. It follows the trials and tribulations of Southwest. It shows you how entirely obnoxious people are. One moron lady was claiming racial profiling because the rules didn't allow more than one person through security to pick her son up (rolling eyes). And watching the drunks try to act sober so they can board is pretty amusing.

airport and airline (two different shows in the UK) were really great to watch when I was still in the travel agent game because these were all the people I had to deal with - just before the flight. I felt like someone else was understanding my own personal hell.

Some of those average Joes are a bit too "typical low-self-esteem-having goofball" that it almost seems put on at times. Leaves you sitting there thinking at times "NO ONE could be that big of a dork"...... but they are.

Rude awakening coming when all the pretty boys with inflated egos arrive.

I felt bad for that guy, He really seemed a nice guy and not too geeky. I get a kick when they show them without the girl and they are acting one way... then she shows up and they try to put on their most"mature face".

The boxing match was a bit too much. The marine guy should have known not to beat up a guy that wouldnt even fight back..it got his ass booted.

The good looking guys with the big egos are going to be funny... those kind ofguys make me cringe..but i bet she sluts out and makes her "artist" sweetie cry
